VPASS and Airpint from IPAD

Hi everyone

 

Hope you all had a good weekend, we are using VPASS for visitor Management in our school with an IPAD that connects to a brother badge printer via Airprint and prints off the label, how ever the printer keeps dropping off,

 

Both are on same wireless network

Printer's firmware has been updated

Ipad IOS is up to date

 

Appreciate any help or suggestions

Any mention of sleep settings on printer?

 

I take it an iPad doesn't save previously used printers - it sends out a Bonjour request everytime you go to print for available printers.(? that's a question - never done printing on an iPad before)
