saintoctopus Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I'm just starting out on my journey with SharePoint and I have learned a lot so far, but I know there is a long way to go... I work for a MAT and I am suitably convinced that I will be using SPO to allow staff across the trust to PROPERLY manage their documents in such a way that others in the trust can relatively easily search for resources which others have created. I know this will be a challenge, but I reckon it can make a huge difference in the long term... Anyway, I'm looking for other SP administrators and users who are willing to share your experiences, especially in the areas of: * use of metadata * design and layout * use with other services (MS Classroom for example) * security settings If you're willing to have a conversation, please let me know. Thank you awesome people
djm968 Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Hi, I'm pretty much in the same boat as you TBH, early stages of setting SPO up for a MAT. I've decided to adopt the KISS approach and so far this seems to be meeting the requirements of the Trust. More than happy to share/exchange ideas. Cheers.
