Can you help again Sysman - I'm having a bad day with menu's etc, what do I need to do to get this right, to get rid of the double heading and to show the News Menu on the r/h side? Many thanks

For the menu this should work, its from the wiki. i was pointed this direction a few weeks ago when i was having the same problem.

 

Part Three

Goto the Modules section and find your new menu - Parents Menu

Open the module settings and make sure the module is published and to the right position.

Using the menu to the right select the pages you want the menu to appear. - mainmenu|Parents / parentmenu|About Us / parentmenu|Admissions / etc
