Due to continued year-on-year growth, an opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, highly motivated and experienced ICT Technician to join our Capita Accredited, hardworking and highly regarded support team.

School ICT Services Ltd is one of the largest, independent providers of SIMS support in the country. We currently offer support and consultancy services to around 400 Local Authority, Academy and Free Schools, predominantly in the north of England but increasingly on a national basis. It is our aim to help schools achieve maximum benefit from their investment in ICT and the post-holder must be pro-active in developing and improving the use of this in schools as well as day to day maintenance.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver high quality support to our customers via our service desk as well as delivering regular visits to designated schools where we provide onsite technical services. There is an expectation that applicants will be required to drive to customer sites. The ideal candidate should have a sound knowledge of supporting education ICT infrastructures and computer systems, including servers, workstations, interactive screens / AV equipment and Apple/Android devices. You should also have experience and understanding of group policies, software deployment, backup/restoration procedures and firewall/filtering technologies.

In return, the company offers:

• Competitive Salary Dependant on Experience

• Private Healthcare

• Death in Service Benefit

• Pension Scheme

The suitable candidate will ideally already be providing similar services to schools or have experience working within a school. This particular role will be based in the Leeds area.

If you believe you have the skills and interest to take on this challenging role in a highly competitive environment, a full job description and information on how to apply can be found by emailing [email protected] .
