unixman_again Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Over the summer, we upgraded all of our W7 machines to W10. I was in a room today that I haven't been in for a couple of months and noticed that the large clock on the cave screen has been burned into the TFT monitors. Thanks M$. He's something else that I'm really pleased about - Microsoft now puts ads in Windows 10 File Explorer (Sorry it's on Extreme Tech)
synaesthesia Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 If you're getting screenburn on clients then the only issue is that you need to sort out power saving! Plus poor quality TFTs?
thimon Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Like synaesthesia said, enable stricter power saving to turn off the screens. Also disable the initial background image at logon / lock, we've set it to boot straight to the logon screen and when locked.
