Help with SIMS - creating a report to extract student specific data

I need some help/guidance (tutorial?) on extracting data from SIMS to show:

 

student name

any SEN/PP etc

some academic data specific to the student (ALPS?)

some academic data specific to the student (bronze/silver/gold grade targets)

 

Rather than exporting full class list with all the data I'd prefer to have only select data.

 

I'd also like to have an A4 (landscape) report with the data placed at specific positions.

 

No-one in school who can do this so I'm starting from scratch!

So a 1 page per pupil report with various bits of info on it?

 

Tried "individual reports" under assessment?

In SIMS, on the menu bar select Reports/Design Report

Then click Create New Report.

select Student, click Next

refine your data area, I'd leave it On Roll, click Next

select your report fields and click the green arrows to add or remove them. Click Next

Apply filter, if required, click Next

Apply Sort order(s), if required, click Next

Specify Effective Date, click Next

Select output format and report title and settings, click Next

Run your report

 

SEN has its own section in the report fields. PP is in 'Additional Information'

 

sorry, I don't know about ALPS or targets, but have a trawl of the report fields and I'm sure you'll find something.
