Hosted SIMs Individual report problem

The tags fail when I build and edit an Individual report template - works once or twice and then gives out rubbish... picks up wrong values or tag does not work. Word 2013.

Have read posts on not saving... closing and then being forced to save the word template and I have switched off spell check. Having a hosted version may limit my access to fix problems. The issue has been raised with SIMs- still waiting for a reply.

Any help most welcome.

Is this for a completely new report?

If it's an existing, tried and tested report, an edit may have broken some tags. There is a validation option that you can use manually I think, if it doesn't do it automatically anyway. Otherwise, try starting a new clean template with just one or two tags to see if that works.

 

You're right, hosted means that you can't check all the settings that would normally be an issue, however, it should mean it's already correctly setup. You might be able to look at the Word settings, there used to be some guidance regarding spell check and some other options. There was a document on the old SupportNet with some trouble shooting steps, I don't know if this has made it to the new support arena.

Frequently whenever anyone has had an issue with individual reports it's been rows not breaking across pages in table properties.

 

It's also a very quick thing to check compared to starting new reports.
