Stop Motion on older Mac

I'm in a school where I've inherited a few macbooks that physically are in very good condition, but I'm struggling to move forward with.

The technician that used to work for the school basically updated noting on them and they are OSX 10.6.8 with no further op. sys updates available.

 

Is there anywhere I can get a free stop motion video package for this operating system and can anyone point me to any other resources i could use with them.
