Wireless phone (not broadband) extender needed

My Mum has a special phone with particularly large buttons and adaptations (vibrate pad) for her deafness. The trouble is that she hates sleeping in the room where the phone socket is.

 

No problem think I. We have a wireless phone line extender for our Sky box; one of those will do the job.

 

Except... There don't seem to be many about and the ones I have found have moans that they don't transfer the bell wire so a phone will ring out, but doesn't ring

 

Has anyone found one that will ring?

Can you not run a telephone extension to this location? They can be picked up from your local £ shop.

If you add an ADSL filter to the output it will add a ring capacitor and re-generate the ring wire. Quite a lot of phones ignore the ring wire anyway so you may well be ok without the adaptor.
