Question about the Climate CM-2 monitor

Dear all,

I am looking to purchase Climate CM-2 monitor (CM-2, The Original Climate MonitorÂ::ÂClimate MonitorsÂ::ÂThe Climate) to monitor the temperature in our server room.

Do I also need to buy the additional remote sensor Climate MonitorsÂ::ÂThe Climate ?

 

Remote sensor: their remote sensor seems to have RJ45 port on one end, can we connect this to the existing patch panel or the CAT5e cable run from the other part of the building ?

 

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

If you want to measure the temp where the CM-2 is located no extra sensors are required. Temp, Humidity, sound and light level are all measured by the internal sensors on the unit.

Im not entirely sure if they are still up and running? we were looking at the yesterday and they are both showing out of stock with the larger one saying 'Out of stock until May 2014'??

 

We tried calling them and it just rang constantly until an automated voice came on
