Assistant IT Services Manager (Worcestershire) * URGENT *

£27,000 (plus benefits including free lunches, parking, pension, medical etc.) - Full time.

Our client, a school in Worcestershire have an urgent requirement for an Assistant IT Services Manager to join their existing team.

 

Your role will include maintaining the school’s IT network, installing new and existing software, providing technical support to the users, curriculum and administration team, developing and maintaining IT based services and managing AV / Data / IT based projects.

 

 

Responsibilities :

 

· Provide support for the school servers, hardware and software.

· Ensure hardware, cabling and all network peripherals are maintained and repaired.

· Specify, configure, install and maintain edge switches and WiFi apps.

· Manage the computer resources of the school.

· Provide technical support for all users, curriculum and admin.

· Management of the schools MDM, MFD and Endpoint solutions. (AirWatch, Meru, Sophos)

 

Requirements :

 

· Working knowledge of servers

· Understanding MDM, WiFi, AntiVirus and Firewall solutions.

· Knowledge/understanding of Macs and iPads.

· Ideally having previous experience supporting IT within the Education Sector.

 

 

The Assistant IT Services Manager will be expected to occasionally work as necessary out of normal working hours, to ensure all systems remain fully functional.
