Mirroring Apps

Hi All,

 

Appologies if this has been posted before i have done a search and nothing has popped up.

 

I am looking to find an app for apple and android to view windows 10 PC i dont want an app that controls the pc like VNC or teamviewer.

 

We have a child that has visual difficulties and need to see what is being taught on the big screen to the ipad or Android tablet.

 

I have tried already splashtop classroom and i can not get it to work in a home enviroment never mind a school network.

 

We prefer free apps but will pay if there is no alternative.

I was going to say Splashtop - I know a few teachers at my school have used it in the past, not for the same situation you've mentioned, but they've always rated it quite highly...

we have tried the splashtop but the ks1 child keeps taking over the screen (as you would) we were advised by the support teacher to get splashtop classroom as that stops the child taking over. this fails to connect the same pc the splashtop remote2 app conncts to flawlessly. I have even given the ipad and pc dedicate ips to bypas any filtering and authentication and still fails. PC firewall disabled will turn back on once ive got it all working properly.

Join.me has been used in school for the exact same scenario.

 

The teacher launches the 'meeting' before the lesson begins, the child then just opens a browser to the join.me link and voila!

 

It is Free too.
