La Retraite is a highly successful, diverse and over‐subscribed girls' 11‐19 Roman Catholic VA comprehensive school with a strong reputation for all‐round excellence. We achieved a second ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED judgement in all categories in 2013. The school is in the Trusteeship of the Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark and is located in Lambeth. We are looking to fill the following role:-

 

ICT TECHNICIAN - Required as soon as possible.

 

Salary: NJC Grade Scale 6, Pts. 26-28, (£26,601- £28,158 per annum)

 

The Governors invite applications from individuals with experience of supporting ICT and its users in the best use of their applications and systems. Working to the ICT Network Manager, you will provide a proactive and responsive ICT support service role to all our users and your input will contribute to raising standards of students’ achievement. You will have a wide range of day to day responsibilities including: helping with the deployment and maintenance of ICT/AV equipment and software; logging and documenting service requests; resolving issues; diagnosing and solving basic network, software and hardware faults.

 

We are looking for a self-starter with a friendly and helpful ‘can-do’ attitude who also has a broad ranging technical knowledge and a passion for ICT. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to work in a customer-focussed role within a successful, high achieving school and which could be the foundation of a career in ICT.

 

Weekly working hours will total 35 per week and will be subject to negotiation with the ICT Network Manager, Monday to Friday, all year round.
