IT Network Manager / ICT Manager – Fulham - £39-42K

Outstanding academy school in the Fulham area requires an Information systems manager to maintain operational successes within a core windows network as well as work with the Bursar and SLT on driving IT strategy and best practice and value.

 

The school enjoys an excellent location in the heart of West London and day to day operations run well. Principally a Dell operation there are a small number of IT suites and 5 host servers run VMware, HP core switching and NAS drives, cisco wifi throughoutand even an imac suite with mac server. As well as this they have SIMS, IWB’s, Google GSuite and some Clevertouch boards. Experience with these technologies would be advantageous and although you do not necessarily need education support experience it would also be advantageous.

 

You will be managing 1 technician and will be involved in the hiring of this post once settled in. This could be the perfect role for someone looking to move up from assistant manager where you have had significant interim manager experience in recent past

 

Additionally you will develop and implement a strategic plan for the schools ICT, ensuring capability but also planning for future changes in delivery of services and tying in with educational outcomes. Understanding of project managements (poss through Prince2) and service delivery with ITIL or FITS would also be advantageous. You may have Microsoft or VMware qualifications like MCSE, MCITP or VCA alongside strong practical experience.
