DMSA for SIMS is the only other piece of software I am aware of that does this Digital Link Solutions Ltd

An excerpt from their marketing material: "As well as being able to import documents which were exported by DMSA, we have added a “Bulk Import Option”. This option will allow a user to upload documents created in SIMS or elsewhere such as pupil reports. Using the admission number or UPN found within the filename of these files, DMSA can process the file and upload to the linked documents area for each pupil a file is relevant for."

I think Salamander Software can also do this, but I'm not sure if there is a GUI or user interface for you. However, if you're a customer already, it's worth asking as they could assist.
