Wordpress help needed

I have some work that needs to be done on my website and it has now surpassed my knowledge of Wordpress.

could someone please recommend (or put there hands up) to help me resolve the issues I have.

 

happy to pay someone for it and i reckon its pretty easy for them to do.

 

was considering going to fivver but the last time i used them, i ended up with a shed load of spam (didnt use them for web dev!)

 

Issues i have:

I need to resize the fonts in my BBpress (but not the whole site)

I want to add breadcrumbs to the site (i do not like the way it displays a post as " Home/post name "

I want it to display " home/subtitle/postname" (i do not even know if this is possible!)

Display a background image instead of the white background currently in place

and any buttons in woocomerce show as text not buttons.

and finally a blue bar has appeared on the site, can i find how to remove it... not a chance!

and just ensure it is running at optimal speed

 

its not a lot of work but I just cant sort it myself

Most of that should actually be quite simple - if you have a couple of weeks to sort it, I'd suggest virtualising your web server and playing with a copy of it. That way you'll learn a good amount about it too.

Breadcrumbs are integral to wordpress, post/page names/URLs are something called "permalinks" - and for the blue bar - Chrome's inspection facility is very useful for that, turn it on, click on the blue bar and you'll see the related code which should give a clue as to where it's at

Having a good backend theme usually helps a lot too.

I don't really have any recommendations for webdev work as we've always done it in house, learning as we go; good thing about doing that is we know the ins and outs of our site and changes large or small can be done pretty much instantly between us
