[for sale] Stone Desktop PCs (Core2, 4Gb RAM)

I've got a quantity of Stone Desktops that have fallen out of the bottom of our refresh cycle. They are of the following spec:

 

 

• Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at 2.93Ghz.
  
• Each comes with 4Gb of RAM
  
• 160Gb Hard Drive (Samsung)
  
• Onboard Realtek Network Interface Cards
  
• Onboard Sound Cards
  
• Dedicated Graphics Adapters which are Sapphire ATI Radeon 4350HD (512Mb Memory) Cards.
  
• Each has a COA Sticker for Windows Vista.
  

 

They are approx 7 years old. Do NOT come with a monitor. Do not have an Optical drive with them. We have a quantity of Keyboard and Mice to go along with them if wanted. All were recently PAT Tested.

 

 

We had been running them up until recently with SSDs in them, but these have been removed and been put into PCs in use elsewhere - I've put the original 160GB Samsung hard drives back in and performed a quick wipe on each. They ran Windows 10 64Bit quite happily with both either Hard Drives or SSD. A lot of these machines were used in our Minecraft club thanks to having a dedicated graphics card installed.

 

I usually do a sell off to staff for these sort of machines, but because they don't come with monitors or a decent O/S then uptake was very small this time around. I even offered to stick Ubuntu on them for people but I had little interest. But, could be of benefit to a school with a EES agreement and willing to stick some SSDs in them will make them worthwhile machines. They're just too old now for use in our school.

 

We're located in Wiltshire, so you'll need to come and get them.

What video outputs are on these?

VGA and DVI - some where used as Teacher Desktop machines which outputted to both a desktop monitor and projector (either as extend or simultaneously).
