I've been out of the office so got this info second hand from my tech.

 

Apparently several computers froze at the same time - mouse, keyboard etc. They froze for about 5 minutes then came back online.

 

The only error I can see in event log on the main domain controller is below. The DC is visualised and there are no errors on the host server. Does anyone have any suggestions please? Thanks

The read operation will fail with error -1019 (0xfffffc05). If this condition persists then please restore the database from a previous backup. This problem is likely due to faulty hardware.
