snagrat Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 We are using a DVI to the monitor and DisplayPort -> VGA cable to the projector. When plugged in the PC does not POST. We have to turn off, remove VGA plug from wall plate and then turn on PC. I have confirmed the DisplayPort cable works but unsure if the issue is related to the detection of a second screen, or the projector we have. All are Epson. PCs have latest BIOS. Anyone seen this issue? I will be trying a different DisplayPort adaptor tomorrow.

Opened fresh out of box we were getting no display and no POST bleeps (Using just a monitor and nothing else). After a good deal of grunting, swearing and kicking. We have determined that using the DVI output with a VGA converter was the issue. Plugging in an actual DVI Cable to a DVI Monitor seems to have solved the issue! How awkward is that!!
