Christ the King is a highly successful and heavily oversubscribed Catholic sixth form college located on three sites in south east London. We specialise in meeting the needs of sixth form students, and have an established track record of excellent examinations success.

Network Manager (Full-time)

Salary - £35,000 pa inclusive

Responsible for the technical operation and management of all aspects of our data networks, you will be supporting our main switching infrastructure (HP & Cisco), wifi, VoIP and physical server infrastructure across our three sites.

Key skills:

 

• Strong, proven ability supporting switches, VLANs, servers and other networked hardware
  
• Extensive knowledge gained working with HP ProCurve and Cisco routers and switches
  
• Experience identifying and installing upgrades to data networks
  
• Strong network troubleshooting skills, especially with multi-site, linked networks
  
• Have attained or are working towards a professional qualification, such as CCNA, or equivalent relevant experience
  
• Ability to take responsibility and work without direct supervision, alone or as part of a team
  
• Effective time management, good analytical and organisational skills
  
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
  
• Previous experience working in an education environment is not essential but would be an advantage
