AJWhite1970 Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Slightly left field request but my PE department are looking to purchase some wrist based devices that primarily measures heart-rate but could potentially be used for other stuff as well, something like a Fitbit/Garmen etc? However, their funds are limited so they want the best bang for little buck possible so can anyone recommend a cheap and reliable fitness device that would fit the bill? Cheers Andrew
Roberto Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 I'm not convinced there's such a think as reliable and cheap in that market right now. The Fitbit flex (and a few very similar competitors) are the closest I can think of, but even there you're using "cheap" as a very relative term. If these are shared devices then the fitbit flex has the advantage that you can have lots of straps and change the active device between straps when a strap becomes damaged or dirty.
