ICT Suite Planning Service

Hi there, I have been helping the head of a small primary with his ICT.

He wan'ts to redesign the ICT suite layout and add in extra capacity but is not sure of the best way.

 

Does anyone have any companies they would recommend?

Someone had suggested using a site like this to help plan: https://cloud.smartdraw.com/

 

But I think he wants someone to actually come in and advice.

I've done a number of ICT suites over the last 10 years and it really depends what you want costs etc. I recommend using a couple of companies to get some ideas about how to use the space. I've had Whitley Jones, Esa Macintosh and just a local carpenter before...

 

I've been lucky that my caretakers in the past have been quite skilled, so we have come up with our own designs and gone the local saw mill. We got some thin but extra wide oak worktops and built our own, curves and all, for under £500! Pop on some Ikea chrome legs and job done!

 

Another consideration is the PC equipment -how old is it, size, could you use Vesa Mount kits etc?
