Andrew_C Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Scenario - I'm doing a fresh install of 10 at home. (long story short - hookey Win7, upgraded to 10, new MoBo, no key etc, decided to bite bullet & pay for 10) Bought it, stick USB key in, new SSD, starts doing something, but doesn't finish. Copying files - blah - stops. I suspect "Secure boot", but I've not messed about with the replacement for BIOS before. I can't see a "Turn off secure boot" tickbox. It is a Gigabyte board (Novatech AMD FX-6 6300) Any clues? I'm currently copying the install files to another HDD, but there may be better solutions...
