Do you get the same issue with Photoshop CC 2017?

Photoshop still crashes when students try to saving work

Have you redirected their AppData to a network location?

We had a lot of issues with adobe cc 2015 crashing while saving work / making selections and moving layers. something what might be worth checking in task manger to see if there if "CEPHtmlEngine" is running and if it is using a lot of resources.

https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/high_cpu_usage_cephtmlengine.html

Our issues were solved by deploying Adobe cc 2017 which made massive performance improvements and solved the issues we where having.

MikeyW their are six CEPHtmlEngine processes in task manager using between 7,064k and 25,424k memory I will look at the solutions in the link you sent but have a sneaky feeling that going to have to update to adobe CC 2017

Hi MikeyW one for the process is at 50 the rest are all at 0, after speaking to Adobe I have decided to try Adobe CC2017 as we are covered to use it under our licensee agreement with them
