CRM - Client/Site Detail Management System - Suggestions

Hi,

 

I'm looking to find a system, preferably something we can host ourselves, that we can use as a central store for site details. I was hoping someone may have some suggestions, as I've tried a few different products I've found but none seem to quite fit the bill - they all seem to be CRMs that are based around sales or ongoing project management.

 

We support multiple sites, and want to be able to keep a central system accessible (web server) by all technicians that can contain details such as IP ranges, server info (specs, S/N, install date etc) and any other information we may want to be able to access. That way, if we go to a site we haven't visited in the past, or aren't familiar with we have some sort of reference.

 

 

Basically, a system that requires a login, and can be split up by site name (School1, School2, School3 etc) and then we can upload either documents to it or actually create documents within the system.

 

Any suggestions for software someone may have used or just know of that fits the bill better would be great.
