[sims] Marking a single lesson with #

Can any-one advise me how I can do this? I work out how to achieve it even though I've seen it on our SIMS

Focus -> Lesson Monitor -> Exceptional Circumstances.

 

EDIT - That's sessions, oops. Single class lessons I'm not sure, you can get a blank period by removing it from their timetable in the Student Curriculum screen, scroling down and unticking their class.
