Senior IT Services Technician

(Circa £26,000)

 

As the Schools’ progress in becoming a leader in the use of IT, we are seeking to appoint a Senior IT Services Technician, operating across our three sites on a rota system, with a primary base at Stamford School.

 

Experience in the education sector is desirable but not essential. However, applicants must have a good understanding of IT technologies and at least 3 years’ previous experience in supporting end-users. This role has allocated tasking areas for our Office365 environment, our multi-functional print devices and telephony systems. The role is also responsible for providing 2nd line support in the other technologies the department supports day to day.

 

The Post is for 52 weeks of the year, 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to gain qualifications in Microsoft and VMWare technologies to provide development and progression within the role.
