cPanel Issue

Hi Guys and Gals

 

I have recently purchased the Edu license of cPanel and have got it pretty much setup except that i can only access it externally.

 

Let me explain I have set the CentOS 7 server up in our DMZ with just the 1 interface, setup firewall rules etc and i can access the WebGUI via my public ip address.

 

However internally i just get connection timeout errors. We use pfsense as a firewall and im thinking its probably something to do with that, not totally sure though.

 

Anyone got Cpanel and configured it differently?

I think you're definitely barking up the wrong tree with this one and would say it's most definitely pfSense/your router/your firewall screwing it up somewhere.

 

First port of call would be to continually ping the IP and go investigating firewall logs IMO.

Where did you get an educational license?

I got this direct with Cpanel.

 

Problem solved i needed to enable TrueNAT on my firewall
