mavhc Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Looked into installing GIMP from portableapps website, to just put on a network share instead of working out how to deploy it It wanted to write to the Data dir, which would be bad, the fix is: Open GIMPPortable>App>AppInfo>Launcher>GIMPPortable.ini add the following line, adjusted as required to the top of the [Environment] section: PAL:DataDir=H:\.pal
