Dan_ATR Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Hi, I was wondering, is there a tool that you can use to pre configure cisco 2960s switches and then export the files to then upload them onto your production servers?
FN-GM Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 You can download the startup config to TFTP by Copy Start TFTP You can upload from TFTP by Copy TFTP Start Download a config. Take out anything that is significant to that switch such as hostname and management IP. Save it and use that as a template and upload it to the other switches. You will need to reboot the switch for the template to apply. Don't be tempted to copy the template into the running config, it will merge with any existing config and can cause issues

Is your budget infinite? Network Configuration Management Software | SolarWinds One day it will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.
