ICT Consultant / Field Engineer – Oxfordshire/Bucks * URGENT *

£20,000 - £28,000 dependent on experience

 

Our client, a large education IT Support company who provides support to schools, are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant to join their existing team to ensure that schools improve their standard of ICT provisions, enabling them to deliver effective teaching and learning through ICT solutions.

 

Your role will be to facilitate communication between your school(s) and the client company, keeping up to date with what services are on offer, and managing the accounts of your customers. This includes acting as the first point of contact, providing great communication and ensuring the use and understanding of portals.

 

Responsibilities;

· Ensure backups are working, complete test recoveries

· Log and track technical issues in correct systems

· Ensure all recovery materials are available at the required locations

· Resolve technical issues as soon as possible

· Ensure excellent communication with schools, managers and other team members

 

Requirements;

· Relevant IT qualifications and a good level of English

· Previous experience with IT and technical issues, including Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, Windows 7/10, Windows Desktop, Whiteboards, Smartboards, AV equipment.

· Comfortable with website interface

· Adaptability and ability to cope with change

· Full driving license and vehicle, willingness to travel to a variety of schools
