Having some fun with our solus 3 deployment. Finally got some semblance of it working by abandoning its own deployment and pushing the bat file with specops

 

I've nearly got our solus 3 deployment working. But we want to hide the taskbar icon.

Has anyone had any success with that? a registry hack would do.

 

We don't want to outright hide the notification area as was suggested by schools ICT as we have some icons in there that we actually do need.

The SOLUS3 Agent and the SOLUS3 Agent UI are 2 different processes on a workstation. If one user logs in and loads the UI then no-other users can see it logged in to that machine unless they both log out first. Therefore you could write a script that ends the UI task.
