Googles new App Maker

Just found out that Google have released a very simple app builder for use within G Suite systems.

Can you get this on education or is it business customers only?

Old thread I know but is anyone using Google App Maker in their School with Students? If so how is it?

I've had a little play but to do any of the really cool apps looks like you have to be using Google cloud storage or SQL paid for. Doesn't seem a huge amount you can do with data in a Google sheet. I maybe wrong as it was only a brief look so far.

Yeah the google cloud sql paid sub stopped me playing with it just this week. I’m going to read up on using external DB though.

A micro SQL cloud server costs less under £6 per month, not exactly a deal breaker.

You could always script it to shut down at night if you are really worried about the cost.
