Has anybody managed to create a report or found a way to show a list of registers that have not been taken during the day? The built in Registers --> Register Log option is too unpredictable due to the fact that any pre-populated student record (i.e. phoned in sick) will prevent the entire group showing up in the list. Currently we have a very long, convoluted way of doing it involving exporting to a complex Excel spreadsheet. I'd like a quicker way so that a member of admin staff can run the report and easily see which teachers need chasing down.

Cheers

Have you had a look at the homepage? Theres a section you can add to it called Missing Registers Notification. This updates throughout the day with a list of registers that haven't been taken. You can also send reminder messages to teachers to do their registers, though in my experience these are ignored until their inbox is full.

Edited to add that I've just noticed this thread doesn't relate to SIMS..but I'll leave my reply here in case anyone else is unaware of the feature.

Hi,

I believe from memory of previous employments that you can enable the 'admin' login for eportal (you'll need to ensure that on the staff record you wish to run the login, the 'type' is set to 'admin' within CMIS (Facility) and the relevant user accounts are in ePortal (it's been there for years now so should be).

When logged into ePortal there's a bitlet that will tell you missing roll calls, and one for missing registers. I think there's also one for attendance discrepancy which will tell you any learner who has differing marks for the day - i.e a present P1 and P2 and then an absence P3 (different purpose I know but still potentially useful info).

I have seen reports before that do a similar purpose and can be ran in CMIS (Facility) so if you need to get hold of those, a bell to the support team at Advanced might turn up some results. I think there used to be some in the report catalogue on their customer support portal.
