Web filtering block page example text

Building a new block page from scratch rather than using Smoothwall's one, and I'm having difficulty finding example texts to what should be written there. My Google-fu is only giving me technical help on how to replace block pages by different proxy manufacturers (Meraki, Sophos, Lightspeed et al), rather than anything to do with the actual content of the page.

 

I'm thinking something along the lines of "You're not allowed on this site 'cause it doesn't comply with the AUP. Use of the network, including the internet, is conditional and governed by AUP. You can get another copy from the sysadmin. We're watching you. Your internet traffic is logged. Resistance is futile." but I'm not really sure how to word it.

I ended up basically just stealing lines from the AUP and writing a bit of legalese-sounding mcguffin to suit. Kids get 2 pages (Information and Why am I seeing this?) whereas staff get 3 (Information, Request an Unblock and Why am I seeing this?) though in reality it's actually 1 page crafted with page #bookmarks and div padding. Posting it here in case anybody searches for something similar in future.

Occasionally websites are restricted when there is legitimate use for them within school. To request an unblock, please submit a Support Ticket. Be sure to include details such as website URL and whether you need the site unblocking for only Staff or also for Pupils.

 

Please be aware that unblocking a website is not an immediate process. You should take time to ensure there is access to all websites required before your lesson.

Just to nitpick, but pretty much everything on the internet is copyrighted. The test is whether you are doing anything which infringes that copyright (i.e. if you are using the work in a way that is not allowed by either your agreement with the copyright holder, or by fair dealing laws).

 

That aside, in my experience almost no one reads error pages, so I'm not convinced including all this blurb is actually of much use

Oh, I'm fully aware of that. But it should satisfy OFSTED that we're A] Telling people they're being monitored, B] Explaining why we block, and C] Displaying the relevant bits of the AUP.

I mean, the AUP is on the website available for anybody, student, staff, or otherwise, so we on-paper satisfy the criteria anyway, I just want to be extra sure.
