You could use Guacamole to do RDP over HTML. I assume you want to access the SIMS application running on a Windows desktop?

If it's using something like RD Gateway or Citrix you can install a client on Linux and populate the settings.

RD gateway seems incompatible with linux desktopscitrix command /path/to/icaclient/wfica cannot open the sims rdp file produced by the hosted sims server

Have you tried Remmina?

 

You'll need to install the RDP plugin but it works fine with Remote App.
