WorkFolders problem and solution

We've been using WorkFolders here for just over a year now as a replacement to Offline Files and as a compliment to RemoteApp explorer for teachers who want to use their own devices. In the first 12 months we had not a single problem with it but over the last two months we've had three people (all byod teachers) who had it error to to an invalid header.

 

The not-obvious-to-me solution to this is to put their domain account into the windows credentials part of control panel.
