antonponniah Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Could anyone please give me some advice on how to hide/delete a row in a report, this can be done when nothing is filled for all the cells in the row but I want to be able to hide the row when compulsory fields are not filled in. For example, we record targets to students but some times when a student drop a subject student will get a row in the report as the target still there, so to hide I have to delete those targets, this is sometime very time consuming. Thanks in advance if anyone had a solution for this.
Cache Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 You won't like it, but you can't. We had the same issue with Profiles where pulling targets through then left the whole row in. You have a couple of options I can think of: 1. Delete the target 2. Use a result set for each year group, copy the target grade into each year group and then use that target with result set in your report. 3. Use a date period instead of most recent, copy and paste the target, removing the data you no longer nead and then set your result date in your template for each target to the day before you copied/pasted (updating all targets in the template each time). 1510-3405609 is the change request I logged about this in terms of profiles.
antonponniah Posted September 28, 2016 Author Posted September 28, 2016 Thanks for the suggestions, at this moment I have bee deleting the targets but this is very time consuming, I will try your other suggestions.
