Remove Auto-Attendant option from Alcatel system

Hi all,

 

I have been tasked with removing an option from our Alcatel auto-attendant options. When people phone up the school they are asked to choose from the following options blah blah .....

 

One of the option are no longer needed it is through a Alcatel-Lucent 4039 phone. Anyone know how I go about doing this?

I have found out that only our telephone company (in this case South West Communications) can complete this task, unless I had been on the System Admin course - which I haven't.

I know our phone system is a Samsung Officeserv however rather than faffing with the options and breaking something, we just recorded a new message which ommited the redundant option. Yes we jump from press 2 for this to press 4 for that (no 3 any more), however it solved our problem! Don't know if you could just do something similar? Pressing 3 does go to the redundant extension, however that mailbox just forwards back to the main call group again. Edited September 27, 2016 by Cache
