ITGURU Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Hi I usually open a telnet session to an IP then manually copy and paste commands to download a copy of the configuration (i.e switches) as a backup. Generally I do this manually for each switch IP, so looking to automate this. is it possible to write a script that will ask me for the IP, take that IP and open a telnet session, login with the username and password, then run the command to download the script? If so, would appreciate any scripting gurus that can help . Thanks.

ITGURU Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 No, we are purely D-Link, however it does support the tftp download command.
