Hey All,

We have a Ruckus Wireless system in place at our school with Two SSID's, one private one public.

Now last year we were just running the public network as an open network with some default filtering on it.

For this year however, we have been asked to lock down the public network to just Sixth Form and staff (At the moment) and they also want SSL Inspection turned on.

I have been looking at the Zero-IT conf that Ruckus offer but from what I can tell it can't be used to install our MITM certificate onto end devices.

Does anyone have a similar set up using ruckus and MITM certs ?

We have EXA as our ISP so we are using their SurfProtect product for our web filtering.

From what i understand of MITM certs and own devices, you cannot automatically install certificates on personal devices otherwise everyone would be doing it. You have to tell the users to install it themselves.

Hey,

So I have set up the Zero IT and it is working as expected.

However, I am trying to get a webpage to load with the AUP and a link to the certificate working.

I have set it so the 'login' page is the page I have hosted on frog and added our domain into the walled garden. However, I can't seem to get the page to load on a device.

If I set the login page to the Zone Director IP /actiavte, that works just fine.

As a test, I tried putting in the bbc and navigating directly to the page, won't load. However, if I put in the ruckus address, it seems to work okay.

Any ideas or am I trying to do somthing that doesn't work in this setup ?

Thanks.
