Hi All.

Current backup setup is such:

DPM 2012R2 to on site nas (old overland storage snapserver w/ 4TB space

Backup Assist to off site with 4TB space

Currently virtualised but only backing up data and SQL.

Hate this setup, particularly DPM. Now I have seen VEAM a few times and it looks great. I am hoping to setup as following:

VEAM to to on site nas (keeping the old nas, but replacing existing disks with 12x 2TB WD RED to capacity)

Using a replica copy job (however it is named) to offsite server.

My question relates to the use of iscsi.. The snap server cannot create volumes larger than 2TB, but I would like VEAM to treat the entire nas as one storage repository. Does veam accumulate multiple volumes into a single 'pool', or will I need to use some technology (e.g server 2012 storage pools) to accomplish this ?

Just want to make sure this will all work before I shell out.. Cheers in advance.
