ITGURU Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 So we've used some radios for several years on the free channels without any issues . We have just been changed over to some new radios which I believe are licensed channels. Today we used them for the first time and a really weird thing happened. One of my guys had his headphones plugged into the front of his PC and our office speakers are connected to the back. When the headphones are inserted and I press the PTT button on the radio it starts playing out the office speakers. When you let go, it plays through the headphones. What could cause this??! We all had a good giggle once we worked out what was going on.

It's standard RF interference, nothing bad will happen, just slightly annoying We get it occasionally at home with some of our radios since we're a family of radio amateurs!
