Hi All,

I've had a request from some staff for a place where students can setup their own blogs as part of one of their lessons. I'm just wondering how you guys would go about this?

They're going to need their own e-mail accounts on Office365 too, which isn't an issue, so I thought maybe this could be done using that? I seem to recall Wordpress had a function to host multiple blogs but I'd rather stick everything in one place if possible

Any ideas?

EDIT: Found the Wordpress Multisite option, but I'd still like to hear how you guys have done it, particularly as they need access to e-mail too.

We would do this using Google Sites. That would allow the students to build a 'blog' page and for other students and staff to see it but not anyone outside of the organisation. That protects us (from students who (say) publish defamatory statements) and it protects the students from external ... 'feedback'.

Sharepoint has a "My Site" feature which could be used similarly.
