Drankazi Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 (edited) Hey guys, I was driving my 2004 Renault Laguna and suddenly, on the section where it shows the mileage, what can only be described as what looks like a gear-stick, followed by 4 "....", then a picture of a car appeared. There's also the letter 'G' being displayed. Also, above this image, the mileage changed to '107.3'. Before I finished my journey, this had increased to '107.5'. The completion of my journey was at least 3-4 km. Any thoughts on what could be wrong here? Thanks in advance Edited September 4, 2016 by Drankazi
elsiegee40 Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 No idea, but we used to have a Laguna that dumped its gearbox oil few months The only good thing was that it was a company car so Mr Gee40 could have a pool car while it went back in fir repair ... again.
rich_tech Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Buy an odb reader for the engine, their about a tenner, it will tell you the fault code then and what's wrong
crc-ict Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Hi, This sounds like one of the trip computer displays to me, something like gallons of fuel used since last reset? Does it look a bit like this? If so, it's just the trip computer display that's changed and no fault. There will be a button on one of the stalks that changes this, and you'll be able to scroll back around the usual odometer display
