Print GPO not applying and some users/machines can't access network and shared drives

Hi,

 

Over the summer have carried out a number upgrades/updates, but some problems have appeared with our new copier/print queue not being deployed to anyone, and multiple users not being able to access the shared network drives.

 

A new print server has been set up, the old machine still has print management on it, but is currently empty. All of the printers have being installed in the new print manager on a different server and can be deployed manually fine, but when trying to deploy via GPO there is no sign of this working, the machines do not pick this up at all, and we have made sure that the policy is assigned correctly and in the correct group, even creating a new folder with no other policies applied. Is there anything we might not have done that could be blocking this? Something we have noted is that under GP Management Editor, under windows settings, there is no "Deployed Printers" section.

 

The second issue of Network Shares appeared where there are a number of staff unable to access the internet or shared drives via wireless. Connecting through Ethernet seems to resolve the issue, but I have had much time to test this. The reason it is so odd is because if I log in to an affected laptop, my shares/connection might be perfectly fine, but when logging them in the problem persists. So thinking account issue, but again staff are also able to log in to other machines and they seem to be perfectly fine.

 

On top of printing, other changes included wireless upgrade (new APs and Controller), moved network shares, moved network home drives (from 2008R2 to 2012R2)

 

If anyone has any suggestions they'd be appreciated.
