LockLizard & Forefront/SCCM

Good Morning,

 

Our teachers have started using new documents as apart of the curriculum. These are opened securely through LockLizard but we're having a hard time getting this to work.

 

We keep receiving the message in the screenshot above. We have exempted the process as specified through Forefront. We have also stopped any scans running on the install directory and still struggling to get this to work.

 

Has anyone else had similar issues?

Local machine Firewall in Windows ? (Just a stab in the dark)

No firewall enabled.

Have you tried it on a machine without Forefront?

Yes and it works so it's definitely ForeFront but I have no idea what aspect of ForeFront is blocking it. Going to try disabling real time protection individually now just to see what happens.

Try running it with SpyStudio this might help, can be a bit tricky at first, but you get to see what it has problems with etc.
