The activation server determined the specified product key is blocked

Anyone got this problem, trying activate windows 10 educaton against my kms key and getting this on the clients! kms activated windows 8 and the servers fine.. its the one for windows 10 too.

 

Error Code: 0xC004C003. Error Description: The Activation server determined the specified product key has been blocked”

What OS is your KMS server running on and have you applied the necessary update?

2012 r2 .. im sure it was activating windows 10 before i upgraded to the anniversary edition.
