Redirection Desktop - Showing all Default user icons aswell.

Found a bug in my Windows 10 or GPO

 

When the pupils logon they should get a Redirection to a network share - Which fine as it shows the shortcuts in there no problem. But its also showing the default user desktop icons aswell.

 

Any idea where im going wrong..

Yep, I have that same issue here. I have managed to redirect the desktop however a whole host of other icons seem to appear too.

 

Windows 10 Pro version 1607.

this took me hours to work out delete the files out of the public desktop folder

The GPO "Remove common program groups from start menu" setting controls this FYI.

 

Enable the policy and watch the shortcuts disappear. Or as above, delete the public desktop shortcuts.
