Windows 10 and Group Policy

Hi,

 

Can someone please advise - which group policy settings do I need to configure to make sure that all of the computer and user policies are applied before File Explorer loads?

 

I have tried to configure the computer policy to specify a default app associations file. On the first login this is ignored, on the second login it works fine. I've read about the asynchronous group policy, and enabled wait for network but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

 

Pulling my hair out here.... even things like our BGInfo background script don't run. Tried to configure the login script delay... has anyone found the right settings?
